Who's going to be best picture in the Oscar?
The goal of our team is to make sure that the user can not just communicate with the bot on common topics, but also take part in a dialogue of a specific topic, for instance, about movie. That's why, when developing the DreamBot, we included a movie skill too. And now our bot can talk about movies, actors, film director, plots and give recommendations to the user based on his/her taste preferences. In general, movie topics are always popular. Movies can put us into the world of fantasy for a while, after watching a comedy, we can cheer up or after watching a motivational film we draw some conclusions.
What is the essence of this skill?
In the process of the conversation, the bot finds out which genre, actor or film director the user likes and makes a personalized recommendation. And if the user says that he does not like one genre or another, for example, horror movies, then the bot will remember this fact and will no longer issue such films. During the dialogue with the bot, the user can get the following information about the film he/she is interested in: rating, cast, plot and duration of the movie, awards, soundtracks. Besides, the user can ask the bot's opinion, for example, whether it likes the film or not and what genres it prefers. The user can also ask it to tell him/her any facts about the actors, including little things about the movies.
